The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph their own employee photo and/or update it at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
This gives your workforce the chance to fully identify themselves at any time with their own employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically optimized to the appropriate format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several shapes and aspect ratios.

The solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo booth in the same way as with the photo booth and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be presented with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the photo.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also determined, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved photo and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in different forms at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with a company logo and/or the name and position of the employee will be immediately included in the picture.

How does the employee get his picture?

To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory is not the only one to benefit from the new recordings, there are three different ways for the employee to get their picture digitally.

1. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The Photo Box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the different versions for the various target systems.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment

The price for purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for organizations with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is kept directly.
