What should be achieved?
The employees in your company are given the option to create and / or update their individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or in the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra employees on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the ideal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees are allowed to stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with a passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile can be set up.
After the photo of the employee's picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or various backrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also determined, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the photographed portrait and the in-house employee data set. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in parallel in different sizes.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the help of the logo and / or the name and position of the employee can be directly on the picture.

How do the staff get their picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his photo digitally.

The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email address. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the different formats for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the photo booth.
Other possible uses
In order to make the best possible use of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment

Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
