The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the best possible format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a release option for internal / external use of the image.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can automatically be exchanged for one or more background settings you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.
The recording is saved in a size and format that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the recorded portrait and the in-house employee data set. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place in parallel in several dimensions.

How does the employee get his picture?

At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his or her original photo and the different formats for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can save their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the direct vicinity of the photo booth. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
