The mission goal

The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and / or bring up to date the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the option to always identify themselves to 100% with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos are independently optimized to the appropriate format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and optionally saved in many sizes and aspect ratios.

The solution

You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the photo.

Following the recording of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or more background settings you specified. The head of each photo is also located, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined point.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you have specified (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data set takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in different dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the help of the company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can be directly visible on the picture.

How does the photographed person get the picture?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new recordings, employees can choose between three different ways of receiving their photo as a file.

1. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the employee can use to download his or her original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems.
3. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email inbox.

Other deployment options

In order to make the most of your purchase, you have the following options:

The need for investment

The investment for purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is kept immediately.
