The staff in your company have the option of creating and / or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed or alternating location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the optimal format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read out immediately from the company ID card. The data collected in this way are then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can automatically be exchanged for one or many of the backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also located, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format that you have specified (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the captured image with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in parallel in different dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee will be immediately visible on the picture.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new recordings, the staff can choose between three different ways to get their picture as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's email inbox.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides a private WLAN that the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the staff can load their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box.

Of course, there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is retained.
Since the system was implemented in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in Germany and Zurich.
