The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees can sit in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be configured so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID. The information collected in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can be set up with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image.
After the photo of the employee has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds that you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio determined by you (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the picture is used to compare the recorded portrait and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the connection.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place synchronously in various forms.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to get their photos digitally.
- Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
The captured photo is then sent to the employee's mailbox.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the different versions for the various target systems.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the photo box.

Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
